The Director of the EcoMediaLab, Marc Esteve del Valle, has been elected as a member of the Management Team of the Science and Environment Section of the European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA).
The ECREA Science and Environment Section brings together researchers working at the intersection of communication, science, technology and the environment, providing a platform for scholarly exchange and collaboration across these fields.
Marc’s election recognises his research on digital media, environmental communication and climate change, and provides an opportunity to contribute to the development of the Section’s activities and research community.
In his new role, Marc will work alongside fellow Management Team members Mikkel Eskjaer, Silje Kristiansen, and Miguel Vicente Mariño, as well as YECREA representatives Silvia Hayes and Alejandro Carbonell-Alcocer, to support the Section’s academic activities, foster collaboration among researchers, and strengthen research and knowledge exchange on communication and environmental issues across Europe and beyond.
